Announcing Oxygen’s New Web Client
Today, we will be releasing an exciting and much requested update to Oxygen: the ability to browse and download Oxygen-based files in any web browser. This allows you to quickly grab a file when none of your personal devices is handy or to use web-enabled devices that do not currently have native Oxygen clients, like Blackberry.
We’ve also made some changes to the Oxygen Web Client to make the browsing and modification of Oxygen spaces easier. This is the first of a wave of enhancements to make your Oxygen experience better and better!
So what’s new?
New look and feel
Enhanced navigation to easily access and manage your own spaces and your company’s shared spaces.
Browse and download files
Click into each space to browse all your files and select a file to kick off a download.
View space subscribers
Add company or outside guest users to your spaces so they can have access to your shared files. Easily see detailed information for each space.
The Oxygen team is working hard to continuously enhance our product to meet your use cases. For more details on the new changes and to give us your feedback, please contact us here.
Thanks,
The Oxygen Cloud Team

Hay all,
Good work on the finalist. With the new web client, can I now share out a folder within a “space” to an external 3rd party? For example rather than zip folderA with 10 documents in it, can I just either share that folder through an OC link or give the 3rd party access to log into a locked down web client?
Thanks
Keith
Hey Keith,
Currently the sharing model is still per space – so whoever you are sharing the space with will have access through Oxygen whether with the desktop client or the new web client. How often do you foresee yourself needing the ability to share sub folders with a lock down web client? You can also create a separate space for external users and delete that space once you no longer need to share and collaborate with them.
This is just the first version of the release and we’ll continue to enhance it in future updates. So if you have any other suggestions please let us know!
Thank Keith!
